Is the adapter magnetic?
It snaps onto magnetic chargers thanks to a built-in metal plate, but there are no magnets inside the adapter itself. On flat, non-magnetic Qi pads you'll need to center it over the charging coil.
Is it a Qi2-certified product?
No. It's designed to work with Qi2 magnetic and standard Qi chargers. The adapter itself is not Qi2-certified.
Does it work with an Apple Watch charger?
No. Apple Watch chargers aren't standard Qi chargers. Your iPhone's MagSafe or Qi charger works, though.
Which Garmin watches does it fit?
Most Garmin watches with the 4-pin charging port, including fenix, Forerunner, Venu, vivoactive, Enduro, Epix, Approach and tactix models. Check your model.
Does it work with Garmin Instinct?
No. The Instinct's original strap prevents the watch from sitting flat on the adapter. The same applies to the Approach S70.
Is a wireless charger included?
No. The box contains the adapter and a quick guide. Use any Qi or magnetic wireless charger you already own.
How fast does it charge?
The adapter takes up to 5W of wireless input and delivers 5V ⎓ 0.6A to your watch.
How big is it?
60 mm across and 15 mm thick, and it weighs 27 g.
Can I use it with a wireless power bank?
Yes. Center the adapter over the power bank's charging coil, or snap it on if the power bank is magnetic.
Can I charge from my phone?
Yes, if your phone supports reverse wireless charging (for example, Samsung Galaxy phones with Wireless PowerShare).
Is it safe for my watch?
A built-in protection chip guards against over-voltage, over-current and overheating. The adapter complies with FCC Part 15 Subpart B.
Should I leave it on the charger?
We recommend removing it when you're not charging, so it doesn't draw power.
